Eco-Friendly ChargeCore Batteries by Laser

Posted by Djuro Sen ,5th Nov 2024

Single-use household batteries have long been an environmental concern due to their throwaway nature, often ending up in landfills and posing toxic threats. Laser Corporation’s release of the eco-friendly ChargeCore Batteries offers a solution with up to 1,000 recharge cycles per battery, reducing e-waste effectively.

These batteries are available in AA and AAA packs, perfect for household gadgets, toys, and remote controls. I’ve personally tested the AAA batteries in my TV remote, and they are designed for convenience with an inbuilt USB-C port that allows recharging from any USB-A or USB-C power source.

Compared to single-use batteries that cost around $2.75 each, ReChargeCore Batteries, at $7.50 per battery in a four-pack, provide a sustainable option for frequent users. They save up to 15.9kg of landfill waste and approximately $2,740 in battery costs over their lifetime.

Laser ReChargeCore Batteries can be charged in just 90 minutes with the included USB-A to USB-C cable and are available for purchase at Harvey Norman:
